I am a Year 8 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Peta. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
My name is Rachel and I working with Jordan on the Summer Learning Journey programme this year. It is so cool to see that you are posting on your blog over the holidays. It looks like you got a pretty amazing early Christmas gift this year. Lucky you! I know that my son, Aronui, would love to get some headphones and a phone. He'll be so jealous when he reads your blog and sees that you got some this year!
I hope that you will continue to post on your blog over the holidays. If you get the chance, feel free to join our Summer Learning Journey programme. To join, you simply go to the Summer Learning Journey website (www.summerlearningjourney.co.nz) and click on the 'Weekly Activities' tab. You'll find links on the tab to four weeks' worth of activities. There are 15 activities per week and you can choose to do any of the activities that you wish. There are no rules about the order or the number that you complete at any one time.
Each activity is worth points and we'll keep track of the activities that you completed and come back at the end of the summer to Edmund Hillary School with certificates and prizes for the top bloggers.
Please structure your comments as follows: Positive - Something done well Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - Give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
