Predators.

 Such things as Rats, Possums,and Stokes, are the main predators in New Zealand who kill our main native birds and birds that are still in it’s eggs.

 They shouldn't be killing native birds because they will get hurt from traps. 

 The way we can help our native birds is to make some traps and put fake birds and eggs so when they try get it the door would shut close so they can stay put and go nowhere.

 We can train possums and stoats to be friendly and make our native birds not afraid of them.

 Also we can make some room at the Auckland Zoo to put predators in.

An invasion of yellow crazies

In what part of the world are yellow ants a problem and why? Africa,central south america, asia and countries across the pacific they hitchhike there way over oceans hiding in the food,machineries and building supplies that is shipped around the world. Why does the writer think yellow ants are good travellers? Cause they traveled to south america, asia, and africa and they have long skinny legs. If the yellow ants are good hitchhiker's what do you think this means in the story? Good at dodging and good and not getting hit by something What is an invader? Why are yellow ants good invaders? They are good invaders because they don’t attack each other Identify some of the problems caused by yellow ants. They eat young birds,crabs,lizards and wildlife the also crawl in to people houses crawl over people night and day and in to food supplies machines and beds and clean laundry they don’t bite but when they are disturbed they spray an acid which can attract people’s eye throats and skin. What is a lure and what do scientists use them for? One way that scientist gather data about the yellow ants by using traps What is a pitfall trap?Another way that scientist collect data about the yellow crazy ants by using pitfall traps called lures the scientists place some sugar water,peanut butter,cat food and honey on card on the ground to interact ants. What is a card count?Card counts was a way that people estimate the number of ants. They place a white card on the ground and count the number of ants that cross over the card 30 second period.

The firefighter

Descriptive Writing. 

 The fire fighters. One afternoon a boy named Harry was a fan of fire fighters.So he got up his courage and asked his mum if he can go to see the fire fighters on his seventh birthday. Till his mum said ‘‘NO!’’ “we were planning something even better than that”But he was so angry that he was going for a walk to catch his breath and then he brought a pack of matches and set a gigantic bulldozer on fire.Then ran around a corner. He was so terrified that he ran away and was so scared he was about to cry.He ran home and told his mum what happened but when he was about to say it the mum just turn on the TV and she saw the news and was so terrified too.Harry said “I was going to tell you what happened” and was about to say that he was the one who set fire on the bulldozer. He apologized and his mum took him to the firefighters to apologize and he had a chance to have ride with them .

Descriptive Writing. Wonder woman has a metal suit,a shield to protect her,she two big bracelets to help her for when she is traped by Supervillans and also a sword too. She behaves by being kind to people and saving the world.she is helpful and she uses a golden rope and ties it around people and it burns them until it tells lies.Wonder Woman is a 2017 American superhero. But I think that she is a superhero for around the whole entire world but not including. Intataca, and other places that people can last in. Wonder woman has 4 types of weapons magic tiara that's like a boomerang,ultiliting earrings alow where to breathe in outer space,unbreakable bracelets if you remove them The owner the gave her them will be angry at her,and a lasso of truth it will keep burning them until they tell the truth. She has nice and powerful weapons to protect her. I think Wonder Woman is responsible for being a superhero .Because she is kind full and friendly that I think she’s the strongest female hero out of all of the heroes.she will not turn her back on us.

The Duffy Show.

The Duffy Show. Character. Ashley-Bully Duffy had a football tryout today so she was practicing with her best friend Ashley.Their football team was the wolves they were versing the Amazones. That day was the real football game and Duffy was really terrified that she was vs the Amazons. Then suddenly Duffy heard a bad cry so she went to see who it was.It was Melanie that was crying. My favourite part was when the dad was looking at the invisible Tv. Also when she always takes her dad’s biscuits. And when the bully and Duffy had toilet paper in there pants. I like Ashley because she became sensitive when Melania gave her a book called ‘The Halloween Bully’.And when Ashley said ‘’What Clown Baby Do you mean Cry baby’’Also when the ghost said’’Why should you eat you have no guts to.’’
