Kia ora This week I've been working on listing 10 food items that I could take on a trip to Nainoa for three weeks at sea. And so this is what I've put down.
I am a Year 8 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 10 and my teacher is Peta. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
Hey Azahlyah,
ReplyDeleteYour slideshow is super cool and I like the pictures and the animation you've done. A "Cannon of water" made me smile, water is important and a cannon-load would be a good amount. There's lots of good healthy suggestions like fruit and bread. Are you thinking sugar to help preserve food for longer? Clever.
(Quick side note, please try to attribute your images by adding a link or writing where you got any pictures you grab off the internet. For an example, have a look at how the SLJ team have done this around each image on the activities page. This won't cost you points, but it is really good internet practise for the future.)
Daniel :)
Hey Azahlyah and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI hope your holidays are going well and you’re having lots of fun. I see you haven't posted on your blog in a wee while. There’s still plenty of time left to do what you can and get more points for the best chance to get some of the cool prizes that are up for grabs.
I hope you get the chance to check out some of the really fun activities in the SLJ and remember that you can go back or skip ahead to do the tasks in any order you like so you can always start with the most interesting ones first.
Hope to see you in the comments soon.
Daniel :D
Kia ora Daniel Happy New Years too.
